Selmer Signet Soloist wood clarinet. Concert to semi pro. Light wear so on sale.
Selmer Signet Soloist wood clarinet. Concert barrell shop restored. These are a top quality instrument with amazing tone. You can not beat the soloist for tone, ease of play and spot on intonation.
Padded case is new. Keys are chrome with as seen. They were polished and cleaned. New corks and new pads. This is a very nice unit - a comparable unit is easily 1800 now.
Intermediate to semi pro and advanced. Vintage and a very sweet player. Known for ease of play and very warm tone. Concert barrel legendary ease of play - and my favorite clarinet. Store specialty - I have a tech who does an amazing job on these. This has a concert barrel.
These are regarded as one of Selmers finest- many believe the wood tubes to have come from Selmer Paris. The warmth and ease of play on these soloists is amazing and with concert barrel no need for an upgrade.
Chrome keys better for student - less worry. I really like the warm tone and great ease of play on these - a lot of Selmer historians claim these wood tubes actually came from Paris. It sure sounds it. New - for a horn like this you would start at $1800 ( Like the Selmer 211 or any of the Leblanc woods.) I just sold one to a man needing a back up as his Selmer Series 9 is down and out - guess what he now uses all the time? His newly refurbished soloist. I sell a lot of these to teachers and students in NYC.
This is in a new padded case. They really are a wonderful clarinet. Spot on intonation. Return if you don't agree. I have NEVER had one of these come back. That's how reliable they are. Factor in the warrantied service - still a superior deal. NO MOUTHPIECE included. I do have a Selmer HS** that would pair well.
Selmer Signet Soloist wood clarinet. Vintage unit. Original used case. Fits it well. Just pro refurbished, polished, new corks and new pads. The works.
Far better made than today's horns. Intermediate to semi pro wood clarinet. All new pads and rebuilt at the shop. Vintage and sweet player. Known for ease of play and very warm tone. Good price - very nice condition. This is intermediate to semi pro. These are th most reliable horns I sell. They never come back. They are very well made and the tone and ease of play is unmatched. See the reviews - I warranty the horn 30 days. Looking for an R 13? Test drive one of these. I don't have a mouthpiece - use a rubber one like the HS* The unit is ready to ship now. I have several still out to shop.
A new unit like this will cost well over $2000.00. ( Buffet r 13) You won't need an upgrade - this is versatile and great for advancing players, high school players, community band players, back up horn, pro doubler and even college. Spot on intonation and concert barrel. Amazing ease of play and spot on intonation. Original fitted case as is. These are reliable and have a sweet tone and amazing ease of play. I far prefer them to the Buffet E11 which is prone to cracks. These are a better wood quality and have a concert barrel - no upgrades needed. We ofter sell them as an R 13 alternative. These never come back. That's how reliable they are.
These are amazing horns and my specialty - many and concert level players pros use these as back ups - I have concert level players using them because barrell is 66 not a short student one. Spot on intonation too. The wood for the soloists came from Selmer Paris factory. They are known for amazing tone and ease of play. Comparable semi pro horns - at lease 2800. I can easily compare this to the Leblanc Paris and it can serve as an r13 substitute. I sell a lot of these t pro players as a back up doubler - last on I sold was to a man needing something to use while his Seller Series 9 was being repaired. Lol - guess what he plays all the time now. The Soloist.
We have already done the work, this is fully serviced and play ready. But - a new horn like this is well over 1800. If you are looking at a Selmer CL 211, Buffet r 13 or Buffet E 11 - this is a great alternative. We also rent these as our upper intermediate line. New the 211 is over 1800, and this is a better horn. This is well worth the price - no hassle return. Warrantied 30 days.
Review: The Selmer Soloist you sold me is a great horn. My instructor told me that my Selmer 9* may end up becoming my backup horn as the Soloist sounds so nice.
Thanks for everything,
